Tisdale's free throw shooting

JD Tisdale is shooting 26% from the free throw line! He is just 6 of 23 from the line this season while going just 1-for-6 from the stripe today. For any player that percentage is terrible, let alone a guard. Hell, for all the crap Chris Dudley took for his free throw shooting he at least shot 46% for his career. Come on JD, you gotta start knocking them down, they are a breeze. I bet half of us on this board could come off the couch and make 50%.

As I noted in another thread, he is an AWFUL shooter. Has a lot of other very nice tools, but can't shoot a lick.

Yeah, here's the really sad part. Mr. 1-6 at the free throw line made Bleacher Report with his dunk http://bleacherreport.com/tb/dc37z?utm_ ... basketball

We have a FRESHMAN PROJECT who is able to do a lot of exciting things. I hope he is able to get the coaching necessary to become a shooter.

I think we have had our share of free throw shooters who couldn't make a move to the basket. I think I like this type of project. Easier to coach 15 foot uncontested shots than quickness, vertical and a nose for the hoop. Let's give him some time.

Tisdale goes 1-4 from the line today in a 3-point loss. It's a free throw man!!! Not a half-court shot! He is now shooting 7-27 from the free throw line for the season. That is not a typo. I guess God just doesn't want Tisdale to be successful from the line....

Perhaps Tisdale needs to shoot 100 free throws a day after practice.

To see a guard shoot that poorly from the line is baffling to me. Hell, to see any basketball player shoot that poorly is baffling.
