For the past few games, I have noticed that Chauncey Orr has not been on or around the bench. He also is no longer listed on the team's roster (he is on the website, but not on the paper sheets handed out at the games). Is it possible that he is no longer attending BG? I'm shocked no one else has mentioned his absence from the bench to this point.

I think the belief is that his injury is to keep him out all year. I have no idea if he's still enrolled in school here or if he's moved on. His name still appears on the stat sheet that they hand out with the season stats, but I guess I don't look at the other side for scorekeeping. I suppose it's possible that his name doesn't appear on that simply because it's known he's hurt and out for the year.

Not sure, but I think most of us have figured that Chauncey was done here as soon as his dad is gone anyhow...

Maybe not enrolled this semester so that he can transfer and begin playing next December. That would be my guess.

In Lou's world, the best way to promote your program is by doing nothing. Injuries are top secret information. Oh, and scholarship players are clearly overrated.

If Chauncey returns to BG next year I would be shocked. I have no inside info but I'm pretty sure he has played his last game at BG. Injury or no injury, if he is on the team, it is VERY strange if he isn't at least on the bench for home games. I guess maybe God doesn't want him to be there, which would be all everyone needed to know.

I don't think it was ever announced. My guess is it was more along the lines of a more minor injury like a PCL or MCL than anything major like an ACL. But who in the world knows. Oh yeah, God knows.
