Any chance Vito Brown gets antsy with his limited minutes and the long term prospects with a fellow freshman having success and transfers home? Sometimes those hometown transfers get the year waiver. He would be perfect role wise. Atleast size wise. We need a bruiser next to Hilmes.

When he was recruited his father was dead set against the MAC. Maybe that has, or will change.

When he does transfer it won't be to BGSU. His dad was very disappointed that Orr didn't offer Vito's older brother Xavier a preferred walk on opportunity.

Vito's could end up at Toledo.

This is pretty heavy speculation. Vitto is a freshman, sitting behind very worthy players at an elite program. I'm not at all surprised he's not getting a ton of minutes and I can't imagine he expected to come in and start. Marc Loving, who committed to Ohio State after his freshman year of high school and by most all accounts (including my own) was a better high school basketball player than Vitto Brown, comes off the bench for Ohio State and is struggling, as most freshmen in the Big Ten do. I think this world of one-and-done's in college basketball has us expecting all Freshmen to be world-beaters and average double figures as soon as as they step foot on campus. However, there's still plenty of kids that work their way up the depth chart year by year the old fashioned way. Now, if Vitto rides the bench all of next season as well, then this speculation might have legs to stand on.

There is a freshman playing his position receiving many more minutes and having success. As you said it's just speculation, however the environment would seem ripe for this. That's also why it says...."any chance?"

.........and if you would gave seen the two (Nigel Hayes and Vito) play, as well as how they handle themselves, you would know why Nigel is getting a ton of playing time and Vito very limited time.

I think he has a better chance for success, playing away from northwest Ohio. He does have some physical talents any team could use. Just my opinion.

The further away from NW Ohio, the better chance for success.
