Don't know how you find this stuff. Not sure I'd want a 1yr "rental" .

Depending on the number of scholarships available next year it might be best to get a 1 year guy so we don't have too many guys recruited into the same class. Plus with as little as we lose this year a 1 year guy can keep this team as competitive, if not more so, until new recruits get their legs under them and are ready to consistently contribute.

I agree. We have 3-7 more scholarships this year and we will be picking from the bottom of the barrel for Freshman. I would like a heavy influx of these rentals and transfers.

Think Russell Wilson. This is the way things are going and it's good for everyone. I think we will see a lot more moving from BCS schools down, (I think=I hope)

Why would you not want a 1 year rental? All it takes is 1 or 2 difference makers to contend in the MAC.

If I KNEW we'd get a Russell Wilson, I'd change my mind,,,but the stats on most of the guys listed don't impress me....though lack of P.T. MIGHT be the reason the numbers don't look good.

If I were a new coach coming into a situation like this I'd be looking at these sorts of 1 year transfers moreso than 4 year players, honestly. By the time he gets here and finds out where his office is there won't be any HS seniors worth recruiting that haven't already signed elsewhere. Why lock in for 4 years on a guy that wasn't wanted by the 300 other D1 schools? Sure, you'll occasionally grab a late bloomer who is decent, but for the most part the guys that are available in March/April and beyond are not really worth signing.

I'd grab a few transfers to fill out our schollies for next year, then immediately start recruiting heavily for the 2015 Freshman class.

The first PG was the MVP of the 2012 NIT, if I read correctly.

With Orr not using all the scholarships for this season and not being able to do much recruiting wise as a lame duck coach bring in either some one year transfers like Globe listed or JUCO transfers for next season may be the only way the new coach has enough bodies for next season. All for it due to the current state of the program
