KSU at BG

We've lost 7 of our last 9 games including our last 4 losses coming by one score. Why not make it 8 of 10 and 5 by one score. Maybe we can try playing just 5 guys for the entire game instead of 6 while we're at it. Come on Louis, you can do it!

Is that what was going on at the Stroh tonight? I drove by and saw about 20 cars in the lot, so I guess I should have assumed it was a men's game.

BG wins 73-66...nice. At least one went our way.

It was pathetic. I got to park in the 3rd row!!! Happy to report there is ONE home game left and my ticket package is down to 3.

Sleepy Cam didn't look so well, Lyshe was less of a liability, and Clarke still needs to PASS THE BALL. Ya know, if we had a decent shooter, we could be deadly on those kick outs to the wings.

The crowd was awful. Game was pretty awful. Coaching for both teams, totally awful.

Hey...be nice, we won a friggin game. That doesn't come easy for BG men's basketball these days. I for one, didn't think we would get to 6 wins in conference this season, though admittedly that probably says a lot more about the MAC than it does about BG. Still, we could be Ball State or CMU.

I'd rather be Ball St or CMU than Kent right now. That program is headed down quick.

The team is 6-9 in conference with games left at Akron and UB and home vs Ohio. We can .... theoretically ... finish .500 in conference. If that happens, buy lottery tickets everybody.

The continued use of Sleepy Cam is little bit ridiculous in my opinion. He picked up early fouls and only played 23 minutes last night, and still posted 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 blocks. That is a pretty productive stat line. He has averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds over the last six games. He is not built to play an entire game, but he almost has to every night given that we don't really have anyone else to come off the bench for him. He is going to end the season averaging about 7ppg, 8 rpg and 1.5 blocks/assists per game, while shooting 50%. In no world is this bad, especially given that this team struggles shooting from the outside and our bigs constantly get double because of this.

Agreed. On a team with outside shooting we would see slightly more production out of him. Unfortunately the defense collapses on him and limits clean looks at the basket. I would think most teams in the MAC would like to have him in their rotation.

10 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks, 63% shooting tonight for "Sleepy Cam."
