Thank you for all your work, coach Orr, and best of luck to Chris Kingston finding the next coach, one who will end the NCAA tournament drought.

Grab the audio or video of last night's postgame. Pathetic. Here's hoping the new coaches get the right recruits and put some fire in the remaining team.

BGSU Administration: Was this year worth it versus the buy-out in Orr's contract?

I really feel bad for the players like, Black, Sealy and even Holmes. You gave up on their senior year or in Holmes' case, you cheated him out of his junior year to save some money and threw the season away.

Absolutely embrassing!

I'd argue they threw away 2 (or 7) seasons to save money. When the 11-12 team couldn't get to Cleveland in a new arena, we all had seen enough to know it was all downhill. This entire time in the new facility has been a complete joke.

But Greg and Mary Ellen got what they wanted.

Time to move on and not dwell in the past. Our program deserves a new direction. Attitude will determine our future while dwelling in the past will only hold the program back.

Thanks to Coach Orr for being a positive ambassador for the university. Lets look forward to a new direction that embodies all that has been good for the past 7 years with the success we desire and the program deserves.

I'm 95% certain he coached this year because of the timing of GC's departure. The cost associated with the buyout wasn't the primary factor behind his staying

Ok so who's throwing their hat in the ring for the job coaching this team?

I read all of your comments and wonder if anyone has the guts to put their thoughts into action and do the job.

I've already coached. Don't want it, don't need it. have too much fun cheering in the stands.

I've held my season tickets, went to games when I was healthy.

You got what you wanted but I wonder how soon you'll be all over the new guy for whatever.

You also help create the atmosphere around a program and it's been toxic

(off soap box)

I think you should be the coach. You seem fun.

Quite the dichotomy for BGSU basketball today. Jennifer Roos win MAC coach of the year, Louis Orr is out of a job.

There's nothing to say about Orr that hasn't already been said 100 times out here.

I'm looking forward to freshness and excitement in the Stroh surrounding our program. I'm looking forward to the new coach, seeing our returnees improve, and the new recruits.

Yeah, I'm sure it's the fault of the fans that the program is in the state it was.

I'll gladly send my resume over but since I've never coached at any level ever I don't think they'll be calling me for an interview. If they are so desperate as to even consider me then I'd say they probably should just get rid of the basketball program altogether.

My lack of experience or inability to coach doesn't disqualify me from having thoughts on those that ARE doing it though. Really there is no argument here. Coaches must WIN. 6 losing seasons in 7 years and getting worse each of the last 2 years.

I'm sorry if you cannot see how that's not good enough. I really don't understand how anybody could watch this product every year, as I have, and NOT want to see change. And I'm quite certain that those of us bitching about our crappy team are NOT the reason why they continue to be crappy. If your point is the overall LACK of fan support, then I think you're arguing a chicken or egg thing. IMO, if you win the fans will show up...if you continue to play boring basketball and sub .500 then you're going to continue doing so in an empty arena.
