At The Q watching Eastern Michigan and Northern Ilinois at the MAC Tournament. How bad must we have been to lose to this Huskie team?

Yeah, exactly. I mean one day after making the longest possible drive in the MAC from Buffalo, we lose to a crap team like NIU on their home floor. NIU's getting hammered in the second round by EMU. Oh wait.

But hey, how bad must Western Michigan be to have lost to BGSU on their own home floor? And how bad must Ohio be to have lost to BGSU on their own home floor? And how bad must Toledo and Akron be to have needed buzzer beaters to beat BGSU?

Exactly my point. The MAC is terrible this year and has been for the last few years. Been coming to the MAC here in Cleveland for 15 years and this is bad as I have seen the talent level...top to bottom.

The worst part about the NIU vs EMU game was we were swept by both of those teams this year going 0-4 combined to those two. And when I heard Orr talking about the road trip we made to UB then to NIU, all I could think about was he passed right past Cleveland to and from but that thought probably never even entered his mind. But enough about him.

IMO, I think the MAC is split right down the middle. I actually think the top half of the MAC has some decent teams (not great, but decent) but the bottom half REALLY pulled this conference down. It think WMU, Toledo, Ohio, Buffalo and Akron are pretty decent. But I'm not sold at all on EMU. I think Kent State, Miami and NIU were poor and BG, CMU and Ball State were crap.

Of the six teams that are left, I feel any of them except EMU can win this thing. I think UB bounces EMU next game and puts them out. Obviously WMU and UT are in the best position, but think of this, they could be very rusty by the time they play as while they are rested, they have been off a long time. They won't even play until Friday. Out of the trio of UB, OU and UA, Buffalo has been playing well for awhile. But there's just something about the Bulls that can't get me to pick them. They were a tip-in at the buzzer away once and haven't been in that position since. Ohio has been snippers from three-point range for the last four games and have multiple guys who can kill you from the perimeter and also have balance with Ndour inside. And they always play well in the MAC Tournament having already won two games in the MAC Tournament already. Akron enters this Tournament a bit of a mystery. They were all out of synch with players suspended, sick and injured a couple weeks ago and they will either gel tomorrow against Ohio or get ripped apart by the Bobcats like they were to OU at the JAR a couple weeks ago. These Zips just seem out of rythem to me.

I think UB beats EMU and OU tops UA setting up a UT vs UB and OU vs WMU semifinals.
