I would HOPE that Akron has more sense than to select a cheater and liar as it's President. And as a Summit Co. resident, I'm not infavor of raising my sales tax to help Akron, either city or U. Although the JAR is very outdated and, um, yukky...the Zips really do need a new arena. Think of BG a few years ago...but even AA was a much better arena to watch hoops than the JAR. Most of the JAR is plastic or HS bleachers. UGH.
However, count me in with CO61...I don't live in Akron and I don't want my taxes going to help another school, let alone one of BG's divisional rivals. Guess we'll see what happens.
