New head coach Chris Jans and Bowling Green have scored on the 2015 recruiting trail with a verbal from Oklahoma City Millwood High School (OK) star Jalone Friday.

Friday, a skilled 6'8 forward, brings size and an ability to score both on the block as well as facing the basket. He averaged 10.3 points per game en route to being tabbed as an Little All-Oklahoma City pick by the Oklahoman

Friday competed on the travel team circuit with the Dallas Mustangs.

I am hoping Coach Jans can make the Stroh a very difficult place to play and win for opponents. I'm a bit guarded, though, with the debut of Coach Babers. This sounds like a good commit.

Friday is #21 in the video. Just one game but he looks lazy and not very dynamic athletically. We don't need a guy who doesn't know where he is supposed to be on defense and is just looking to fire up threes the entire time. He has the body to bang though.
