Anyone have a "secret" report on how things went against Michigan or is Dino Babers the only one who knows and taking it to the grave with him?

The UM Scout.com board (GoBlueWolverine.com) is reporting that Michigan "LOST" the scrimmage. Without an actual game or score being kept, the interpetation of "lost" is up to the eye of the beholder, but this is very encouraging news to say the least.

I hear Chris Weber called a timeout they didn't have and was assessed a technical foul.

That would be very promising news if it is true. Sure would give this team a shot in the arm of some confidence heading into the season.

I don't know how BG handled this game, but I have been a part of ones in the past where there is actually a score kept and even a box score at the end just like a real game. However, the stats are only provided to the coaches only. I have also seen it done where teams do more situational scrimmaging, sort of like the variations of a spring game in football where the format sometimes differs.

The media that picked us 5th and 6th are truly clueless. Last year we beat Western (the league champ) and just barely lost to Akron and Toledo. We've got almost everyone back plus people who didn't play due to injury plus several highly-regarded recruits that fill needs plus a coach that has done nothing but win and brings a proven system. Why can't we contend this year?

Was asked about U-M's secret scrimmage vs Bowling Green yesterday: All I know is it wasn't a full, regulation game. No final score to report
