I think the lose at Oakland was just what our guys needed. Besides shootin problems, I'm sure they have worked out their other weaknesses and will be ready! Because of that, I'm giving us the nod in this one!

I really think tomorrow we'll see what this team is truly about!! I think it may be a tough fought game... I think it'll be pretty high scoring... and I think we'll prevail.

I am not concerned about this team's play in front of the home crowd. I think we go 7-2 (at least) in MAC home play, but our road play is where we will have to improve to get a good seeding in the MAC tournament. If we can manage to go 4-5 or so on the road, then we'll finish pretty high in the conference. Let's get the MAC season started off right with a solid win tomorrow.

I can't blame him for being skeptical after we lost to a team with one victory.

i wish i was able to make it out there for the game...too bad my buddy has bills season tix, first UB game i'll miss this year that wasn't played in north carolina.

i have a feeling this game will be REAL close. However, i think turner battle is gonna start to show that he's the best player in the MAC, and that starts today.

I am normally not critical of our sporting teams. I usually leave that to the coaches and the "experts" on this board. The one time I predict that BG won't win a game and I am ragged for it? What gives? Just because I don't have 3,000,000 posts, nor do I claim to have "inside information", I am not allowed to feel our team will not excel? Am I rambling on, but making a point? I don't know. We still lose. Score is irrelevant. I'm sticking to it, but hope I am wrong.

I don't think I've ever seen a thread where anyone picks us to lose besides the Oklahoma football one. BG CAN lose and if you feel they will, I'm not against it and no one else should be. It's your opinion and everyone should be cool with that. At least if we do lose, you won't be as let down as the rest of us BGorDeath

I've picked BG to lose before on this board several times, and in fact, I usually ended up being correct. A few times, I even had people rip into me for picking against BG for "my" prediction. Why? I think anyone should be able to pick BG to win or lose if that's what they think will happen - it's "their" prediction, isn't it? Isn't that the point of a prediction, deciding what you think will happen? Now I hope all us BG fans hope BG wins and I think we do, but I don't think we should feel like we must say we'll win all the times. I've only picked us to lose to Depaul so far this year. We weren't and aren't going to go 30-0 this year, let's be honest. Sometimes I think we'll lose and we do, but sometimes I think we'll lose and we win. The reverse can also be said. I'm a HUGE BG fan, but I also consider my predictions valid to me. I just try and go with my gut feeling.

I think we'll bounce back against Buffalo and I feel this is a big game for us for a few reasons. 1. It's a MAC game. 2. We're coming off a big loss and I want to see us erase that. 3. I want to see how we respond after that loss and see if we're as good as we think we are. 4. I always want to see BG win!

And its not like any of us are putting predictions down to take to Vegas, its just a fun way to think of the game ahead of time, and look back and see if you can nail it. The way it was phrased, "We lose.", just spewed negative connotations. If the score is irrelevant (which it really is, aside from who ends up with more points, obviously), then at least give some analysis why you think that they'll win/lose. *shrug*

And why did I just spend 2 minutes and 9 seconds of my time writing something you probably already know, or don't care if I, or anyone else, tell you? Can't we all just get along?

I believe reality may set in for us. I hope not. I love watching this team, but I have a feeling that we were all agog over their pre-conference success with the Oakland game possibly being more of the norm than the exception. Just a feeling. Hope I am VERY wrong.
