BG vs EMU

Can we beat a zone for 40 minutes? We'll find out Wednesday. Our outside shooting has been stone cold the past couple games and that's exactly what EMU is gonna make us do. Four teams are tied at 3-1 in the MAC East. Gotta beat EMU because a big test at Toledo awaits after that.

Speaking of Toledo, are many going and is the BG tix office the best place to get a ticket in a BG friendly area?
Hopefully Jans has an answer for the zone coming Wed night.

Off topic, but not worthy of a new thread in my opinion: Went to watch Wichita State play the other day at Loyola Chicago and WSU's adjustments throughout the game were so noticeably better than that of LU's. Couldn't help but think that Jans spent time learning from one of the best coaches in the land. Hoping he sticks around for a few years because I think we'll break that drought if he does.
Also, this has probably been addressed before, and having worked in collegiate athletics I should probably know this, but why does the Ferris State game count against our record as an official game? Win or Lose I don't see why it should on there. I'm not a fan of playing D-II teams past the exhibition period as it is.

Would love to go to tsun game but we'll be at the Madhouse on Mercer. EMU is substantially improved...seems the MAC has a good number of solid teams this season.
GO BG

So far, so good. +11 at half. Holmes with two massive offensive rebound dunks and two incredible blocks. The good guys look like they brought their "A game" tonight.

74-58. We give up an average of 58 a game...gonna win a lot of games playing that kind of D. Put that Akron game behind them and beat Ball State by 12 and EMU by 16.
12-4, 4-1 MAC. Damn, this is fun. Wish I could go to Savage on Sat night vs the hated sun but hockey is in town.
BEAT TOLEDO

Jans and staff seem to have no problems with anything being thrown at them so far in the MAC. The Akron game [1st half] was a blip.
Hats off to the players for playing hard for 40 minutes. Very nice win to go 4-1 in conference. The half court offense was really impressive tonight.

Another very solid win. BG led nearly the entire game. But now it 's time to buckle up with a trip to Toledo up next. We're gonna face the same kind of test as we did at Akron last week.

So bummed that I've got a party to go to on Saturday night. I'd love to be at savage on Saturday. Great game tonight...Henderson and Dickerson really stepped up when we needed them.

Keep the home wins rolling and now let's see if they can get a tough one at Savage. Beat TSUN!

Since no article has been posted yet on bgsufalcons, what was the crowd like...seems like they were pushing to " fill the Stroh". Wondered how that worked out...pic of 266athletes w/ 3.0 + GPA's looked impressive.

Overall I would say the crowd was down 15% compared to Ball State but that's just a guess. Students seemed down more and not as active tonight. We have to change this, especially by 1/31. I have that one circled.
