Wow, finally a post on the subject of the CMU game. I was beginning to wonder if anyone down there in Bowling Green was even aware we have a game tonight in Mt. Pleasant. It's strange because we are pumped for this one. Coach Davis is in his third year and has the team playing well. I was able to find a line on the game and CMU is favored by four to five points which seems about right to me. We are playing really, really well at home. Playing on the road has been a little different story, but that's pretty much true for most teams in the MAC. Very much looking forward to the game. We are expecting a full house and the crowd should get into this one. You pretty much manhandled us in Bowling Green last year so it's payback time.

We sure have trouble with the full court press....CMU within 2 at 60-58 with 1:51 left and they have the ball. We seem to crack down the stretch a lot. Cmon BG.

WTF!!! How can we not inbound the ball?! That's two baseball passes we thrown away! We are throwing this game away, literally!

Great win. The refs tried to hand it to them and we didn't have a great game. Truly we are a much better team in every way.

No doubt, GT. This team has a ways to go but man it is so much better already with Coach Jans.

That was intense. Jans first overtime win at BG...right? On the road, even better.
Very satisfying to walk to the poster in my office and mark another "W". We have not had two "L"s in a row...knock on wood.
Let's see how we do on that freakish floor in DeKalb this weekend.
Roll along...

As good a coach as Jans is...or seems to be....I can't believe we don't have some in bounds plays that actually work! Can't deal with a press....cost us vs. Akron...and almost did the same tonite.... best thing about this team is they DO play defense,,,, though the CMU kid with the 40+ pts. might beg to differ.

That dude flat out torched us all night. But a real big win for BG on the road, especially after CMU made the run at the end of regulation to set up OT. But we have got to work heavily on handling the press and traps as teams are going to continue to do it until we learn to beat it. It cost us vs Akron and nearly did tonight again. But our guys found a way and that's what matters most.
