That's just crazy. I remember counting down to when Otis set the record, amazed at his total, and Holmes just destroyed it. (Otis broke Tom Hall's record of 117, Holmes has more than double that.)

Of course, Nate Thurmond probably blocked a half-million shots, but the world will never know...

And the guy only played 3 years here too. Well, I guess Thurmond did too due to eligibility rules.

Still, Holmes as a rim protector was unreal. It will be VERY difficult to replace that next year. We can probably find a talent to replace his rebounds and scoring (if we recruit well), but Holmes has amazing shot blocking instincts.
