A MAC road win tonight for BG would be big

Getting any MAC win, especially on the road, is key. This game against Marshall tonight is a game we need to get a W. Some of the stops on the road are going to be much tougher than this, and tonight is a good opportunity for us to try and improve to 2-0 in the conference. I'm anxious to see how we respond and how we come out and play after what happened the last time we were on the road (at Oakland last week) and after what happened the last time we lost a heartbreaker in Huntington two years ago. That was a game we just let slip away at the end.

We need this win tonight. Going into the Oakland game our RPI was 40 something, now it is 90 something. Marshall RPI is 270's. If we lose this game our RPI will plummit. We cannot afford to lose this game. A win tonight, and a home win Sunday would boost the confidence again and hopefully but together another 6 game winning streak. If we lose once every six games we would finish 26-5. Not too shabby.

I agree....this is almost a must win game. After that, we have NIU, EMU, WMU, Ball State and UT...pretty tough stretch there.

GO FALCONS!! BRING HOME THE WIN!

Agreed. This is a good opportunity for us to snag a win....and I hope we do. I think this is a game we "should" win. The question is, will we? We'll find out in several hours.

MUST win??

I don't think this is a must win... It would definitely be a fantastic place to get a road win, but we've all agreed that the only way to the NCAA is by winning the MAC Tourney.

I think this is a "must play well" game more than a "must win." If we come out, play well, play hard and still lose, so be it... but if we come out and lay a total egg like at Oakland, then that is a problem.

I think we'll win going away though... I think this team is for real, but I had no expectations heading into the season, so every time we play well, it's gravy for me!!

Exactly my thoughts. I want to see us win every game, but the games we must win will come in the tournament.

And in Anderson Arena... I think every home game is a "must win," the rest are "must play wells" in my book.

Are you at all concerned that we're thinking the same!?! :coo-coo:

Since I already know that my thought process is a little off of normal, I would say yes, you should be concerned.
