Cincy!
Cincy!
Alright, I'm still pissed off about last night's football game, as I suspect everybody that is a fan of both programs would be. But it's time to get over it and get excited for the Bill Frack challenge. I don't know anything about Cincy, but I suspect this will be a very tough test for us tonight. I'm hoping we have a good crowd at the Stroh Center, and can have a rocking house.
Either way, I realize my anger at the football team is probably the reason I have gravitated more towards basketball, even though this program has had far less success than the football program has. In hoops if we lose I say oh well and move on to the next game...Football it feels like our whole season has gone to hell because of one stupid game.
Sigh...anyhow, let's come out and support this basketball team tonight guys!
It's a big one!

Re: Cincy!
Cincinnati has all but one player back from last year. A team that I belive won 24 games last year and made it to round 3 of the NCAA. Ranked just outside of top 25. Won its opener by 26. Won its game Sunday by 50 pts. And are a 17 point favorite over us tonight.

I have low expectations on the season and for this evening, but I love that we're getting teams like this into the Stroh. I'm still excited like hell for the game!

UC scored 97 and 106 in their first two games. Any chance of BG pulling off the upset is going to be stepping on D and making this a low scoring game

Looks like a terrible crowd on ESPN 3. Hope that's not really the case!

It does look like a terrible crowd. Lots of empty seats? What the hell?
Also Alcegaire and Tisdale are so sloppy with the ball.

Alcegaire needs to play less. I think coach got it in his head he was going to be solid and now is giving him PT based on that. He is 5-18 from the field and has terrible shot selection.
i would play
Ali-Denny-Lillard-Parker-Worrell as much as possible.

This is the laziest team. Just let guys go around them. Joseph is terrible on D or tired I can't tell.

26-4 second half run. It's not like they are actually playing that well. We are lazy.
Re: Cincy!
I don't know if we're lazy. We're not good. They are maybe not playing to their best but they are a different caliber of athlete.
And Alcegaire has quickly become one of my least favorite falcons.

I get not being good, but we just seem to not be trying very hard. Guys just flying by us, not holding on to balls. Clearly they are better but this just is frustrating. agree on Alcegaire.

Re: Cincy!
My lineup would be
1 Ali-Joseph
2 Denny-Malik
3 Lillard-Alcegaire
4 Parker
5 Worrell-Wiggins
Mayleben-Tisdale-Gomez can fill in as needed.
I bet this lineup competes for the MAC Champ next year
1 Ali-Caldwell-Frye
2 Denny-Malik
3 Lillard-Tisdale
4 Wiggins-Alcegaire
5 Worrell-Mayleben
