BG vs Oakland City

I gotta admit, I've never heard of Oakland City before, and that's not a jab at them. This was also a game that was added to our schedule as a replacement for the UTRGV game (they are now playing Our Lady of the Lake instead - no, that's not a joke) as the Oakland City game just seemed to appear out of nowhere on our schedule. As Ferris State showed us last season, you need to be ready no matter who you play. I decided to take a look at Oakland City and they're actually 7-0 this year (they play one more time before facing BG) and have been killing teams. That said, they also lost a pair of games to D-I teams that were counted as exhibitions to Lipscomb and Austin Peay this year as well. It goes without saying that this is a game we should win. But, we should have beaten Ferris State last year also. It will have been 10 days since our last game so hopefully we can get a win and fine tune things before diving into MAC play.

You look at that schedule, they beat the OU Lancaster team, the OSU Mansfield, Lima teams. Branch campuses. Honestly the team that wins the BGSU intramural championship could be these branch campuses...

87-56 final. Open MAC play against Miami this Wed at the Stroh.

I think Wiggins, Worrell, Lillard all looked great and Malik is eventually going to be very fun to watch. If we hit on just one of those pt guards next year. When that group of 4 I already spoke of is a SR we will be very good. I think Worrell and Wiggins games are perfect for eachother.

After sitting out a year because of redshirting Gomez has now been here 4 years and should be ask not to come to practice anymore. I hope he has gotten a good education. "Conditioning" = lazy not putting forth much effort at practice. He loved coach Orr!
