Well, our favorite CPD reporter hasn't given BG much love in the MAC in football over the past couple years, but he surprisingly gave BG some love recently touting BG as the "most solid team in the MAC" (link below). Unfortunately, when that was written, BG went on to fold late vs both Toledo and Kent State in home defeats. No way do I think BG is the most compete team in the MAC. I do think BG is more competitive than many people thought, and I believe essentially anyone in the MAC with the exception of Miami can win it this year. But I still feel come late in the year that BG will be fighting for one of the last spots to host a first-round home game in the MAC Tournament and won't be getting a bye to Cleveland.
