Elton changes his mind big time on BG

A little over a month ago, Elton Alexander of the CPD (who never seems to give BG football much love in anything) said BG was the most solid team in the MAC - in basketball. Well, since then BG has lost 8 of 9, and to no one's surprise, he's dropped BG to 11th. Unfortunately, I think he was way off with his first assessment and he's spot on with his second take on the Falcons.

He is pretty much clueless on the league as a whole. BG is a young team hitting a wall? How is BG a young team? Here is how I would assess it.

11) Bowling Green -- 7 year of Louis Orr recruiting, Jans slaps some ass, players all try to leave and realize they don't have other D1 options.

11) Bowling Green-overall lack of talent...after a fast start the team has hit the wall. The wall then fell on them.

The talent we have right now is hard to watch sometimes..but I don't think we a dark future ahead. This is Huger's rookie year as a HC, players he didn't recruit, and battling 2 systems before him that are still lingering..I like the guy and wanna give him a huge window because of his love for bowling green and the understanding he has for the university.

Agree 100%. I really like Coach Huger's fire. He's a Falcon and will get this turned around.
