Not a bad consolation game for the Zips here. A good shot at a MAC team beating OSU.

Only bad thing, is Akron at OSU is the same time as the 1st round in Dayton. Big 2 nights in Central Ohio. Tuesday is the Akron/OSU game. Wednesday Michigan 1st round in Dayton

This game should be billed as 'The Div. I Ohio Championship Game'. Wish it was being played at the Q or the Convo in Athens.

Xavier is one of my faves for the NCAA. Cincy is 22-10.

Akron blew a great shot to beat OSU. They went to OT but only scored one single point and had a horrific night from three. Why can't the Zips ever shoot that poorly vs BG???

Akron was 9-42 from three last night. Against BG the Zips would need about 12 attempts to make 9 threes. Akron also missed out on a chance to host Florida in the next round. The Gators are renovating their arena so they would have had to play at Akron had the Zips pulled it out. Double whammy.

McAdams was sub par and the big guy, Johnson, couldn't make a free throw down the stretch to save his life. Akron missed out on a golden opportunity to host and really put some excitement into their fan base (and MAC fans) for the next several days.
