6-feet-3, senior guard
Had a great season for the Phoenix, leading them to the PSL title game. A smooth scorer and shooter, he averaged 21 points, seven rebounds and five assists a game this season.
Coach Venius Jordan: “One of the most versatile kids in the state. He checks the best player. Also has phenomenal attitude. Led us to two city championship games.”

Turner, Frye, Caldwell...have we ever had a group of guards with this much talent show up in the same season?

About damned time we start recruiting some guards who can score and distribute.
The Louis era felt like he thought guards were just annoyances that got in the way of his front court players. I think it's conceivable that the guys Huger has brought in here in 2 short years will provide the top 3-4 guards that have played in BG for the past decade. Obviously we need these kids to develop and show the talent it looks like they have, but the competition isn't real high.

I think I remember Kent and Akron squads loaded with interchangeable annoying guards that were all dangerous. I would love that.

I am curious to hear people's thoughts from the brief video. Certainly seems good.

Smooth jump shot with range...not afraid to take contact near the rim...not explosive off the floor but he's quick and he has a nice handle. that step back jumper he it early in the all star vid was nice

100% Agree. Loved how much he attacked the hoop. His coach said he was their best defender too. Not a bad passer either. Nice having 6 athletic guards.

Comes from one of the best if not the best over most recent times PSL programs in Renaissance. Saw he was named second team Class A by the Detroit News. Oddly only HM by the Freep.

Didn't sign his letter today it seems. The original note was from a Jordan Strack tweet. Anyone see it anywhere else?

This kid looks like a nice surprise, looks like a true scorer. Good with both hands, I like the looks of that pull up he does when he goes left. Don't how he points his body left on his J but it looks like he can shoot it. He will be an obvious immediate upgrade over Tisdale.
Lets find us another big somewhere now. I really like Huger's guys so far.
