ESPN reports that Kent and Western Michigan will make the NCAA Tourney. BG is no where to be found. They are not giving BG any rspect as this statement says.

Kent State at Western Michigan
The best of the MAC square off in Kalamazoo.

Personally I prefer BG still flying under the radar.

We shouldn't be found anywhere on that list yet. We haven't played and beat Kent or WMU yet. Until we do, we won't be on their radar.

It is nice to see two MAC teams projected thus far, hopefully that projection leads to reality for the MAC.

I seem to remember in past seasons they always have 2-3 MAC teams on their bracket at about this time. Than we all beat up on each other and end up with one-the MAC tourney champ.

That's right, we have to play our way into the top echelon.

let this just be said one more time. The MAC will have...drumroll.....ONE tournament team. Whoever gets hot at the end will represent the conference. Western could go 15-3 in the MAC, lose to Kent State in the championship and still be ten spots away from the final 64. If we didn't make it McLeod's senior year, it'll be real tough for a MAC team that doesn't run the table against a quality non-conference schedule to ever make it.

One game at a time

Post by HoustonFalcon »

Let's just focus on one game at a time and not worry about what might happen two months ahead of time. This team is playing real well right now, but to worry about the tournament, and what others think might or might not happen is silly. Who really cares if anyone thinks that we are any good at this point, as long as the players believe that they can play and compete at the level of the top teams in conference and win, thats all that we should worry about. I say let's win as many games as possible, and be ready to play every game, and then worry about it with about one or two weeks left before selection sunday
