What is it going to take?

What more is it going to take to get 4000 people out to Anderson Arena? Not 4700, which is capacity, just a good crowd. A team that is 10-2, 4-0, with a hometown kid who is leading the conference in scoring playing the defending champs that also have 10+ wins.

If it takes much more than that, well, then I've lost all faith in humanity!

You might want to start trying to find that faith because you'll probably lose it. I'd LOVE to see 4000+ there, I just don't see it happening until the Toledo game.

I know that I am going to try to get out there Sat. I havn't been to a game a game this year and am regreting it, and since I have known Almanson since I was about 5 years old, I am almost feeling obligated to go to game this year eventually. This one will be a perfect one to go to, with the two best MAC teams going at it. Of course I will be at the Toledo game too, but I hope that I will make it out to more than that.

My in-laws are coming up Saturday for my son's CYO game. It is at 12:10 in P-burg. We will have to hustle to get back for the game, but my son and I are planning to go whether the in-laws want to or not. My father-in-law came to BG on a basketball scholarship back in the late 50's so I think he would probably like to go.

And fwiw, I think we top 4,000 easily on Saturday.

I hope the students really turn out in great numbers for the WMU game. I wonder how many of them know how big of a game this is, or that we even have a home game on Saturday? I hope "word of mouth" spreads on campus the next couple days and it would be great if the BG News gets something on the front page about the game and that Sic-Sic can put up a lot of signs on campus. I know there is excitement building for the Toledo game, but this game against WMU is HUGE!
