Once again... I found myself smitten with the dance team. ;-) There are some pretty good action pics though!

The crowd, while officially 2400 or so, couldn't have numbered more than 1000. It was totally pathetic. Such a great building, but it was empty. The BG following was great. If you watch the TV hilights, there was almost as much orange as green.

The overall crowd was TERRIBLE.

Seriously, it was a joke.

I think they listed the crowd at 2300, but I'd be surprised if there were 1300 people there. The biggest cheers of the day were during the round of musical chairs they played at halftime (one kid hip checked the little girl right on her rear, quite violent!).

Team? Looks like it was just that one girl you were smitten with. :o Maybe it was because she kinda looks like your wife, right?

Nice work, Grant. Thanks for the action photos.

One of my favorite things at the MAC tourney is to "research" the dance/cheer squads. It's truly a scientific approach. Lots of variables.
We've had a few lively discussions regarding which schools have the best.
Eastern is high on the list, and looking to be an early favorite for 2005...

AND they had posters of the dance team available after the game. :D

The crowd, well I stopped counting at 750 and I was more than 1/2 done. I would do no more than 1500 at the game. As far as the Falcon Faithful. I counted everyone in orange and brown alone and people I knew who were Falcon Fans and I stopped at 400. I would say we have maybe 500 or so fans there. Many stayed back to watch the Womens Game.

Grant:

There have been movies based on people who haven taken too many pictures of the same girl. Usually the person who took the pictures ends up in jail or dead. I would suggest using a variety of girls for your dance team pictures. I would hate to have to pay $12.00 to see "The Ziggy Zoomba Stalker" starring Michael Rappaport as Grant.

How ever you need to justify it...

Actually, I think I'll be in the cell next to you after my recent visit to Gund Arena for a Cavs game.

I recommend a better zoom to reach those dances beyond your stalking target... :P
