For MAC women, this is the WORST thing to happen. Wouldnt be shocked to see a 15-16 seed in NCAA as result.

Ball State beats WMU 66-63

Of note, Persons only played a few minutes leaving early in the first half with a gouge in his head, needing stitches, and has concussion. May be difficult for Ball State tomorrow against Akron without him. Akron catching a huge break if Persons can't go.

Toledo's "beast" Steve Taylor was chewed up and spit out by Ohio's true frosh Jason Carter tonight. The veteran was schooled tonight by the newbie. Carter will be MAC POY at some point in his career. BG went after him but couldn't get him.

Akron is the perfect example of what good coaching can get you. Their guy coaches his ass off.

And Kent State will represent the MAC. Akron was a projected 13 seed. Kent will probably be 14 or 15.

And Dambrot wouldn't shake hands with any Kent State coach or player after the game. What a jerk!!

Jaylin Walker simply went off tonight! I wonder if Huger was watching? You see coach, it's not only all about defense. Offense is just as important. Kid was scoring all different ways, ripped Akron for 30 and sent his team off to the dance.
