New Commit Matiss K. Officially Signs

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program and head coach Michael Huger announced the signing of Matiss Kulackovskis to a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday (April 12) afternoon. Kulackovskis, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward from Saldus, Latvia, will enter the program and have four years of eligibility, beginning with the 2017-18 season. Kulackovskis spent his final two seasons of high school at Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia.

With this kid and Koch, who is Ohio's all-time leading rebounder, we should have some solid guys down low that can hopefully dominate the glass in the coming years. I truly believe that this program is heading in the right direction!
