List of the 8 guys we have officially offered according to Verbal commits. 2 are pretty clearly off the list. Boyd and Forrester we offered very early and are now high major guys.

With 1-2 schollies available we are likely to be offering I'd love to offer a big and a guard. I'm hopeful that we fill out the roster this year with a grad transfer and have 2 schollies for next year.

I really hope we can nab Rotroff from Wauseon. I've seen him play roughly 5 time, and he's just so dominant at some points. Kid is seriously big, too. I hope we make it a goal to really focus on keeping local guys here rather than letting them take a trip up I-75 to make us regret it for 4 years.

Rotroff certainly has the tools and would be a good get. Needs to work on his offense as most high school big men do, I'm sure in the NWOAL he is able to dunk a lot and muscle people around, but when I saw him down at state against big, physical guys all he had was the drop step to his left shoulder.

Looking at the list of offers so far and comparing them to other offers as well as where the player resides, I believe the likelihood of BG signing some of these players is low. I will agree with Globe that Pickron is a strong possibility and I think we probably will concentrate on SG/SF except that I could see them signing the big center from Wauseon. But even for him there is a ton of competition within the MAC from programs that have been way more successful than BG in the most recent past. Personally, I would be overjoyed if they signed Jack Clark (6'5" SG) whose still overlooked after a strong summer but I think that may be wishful thinking. Of the remaining players, I think we still have a shot at Toledo St. John's Vincent Williams though I think he may be waiting for a Power 5 offer. Of the rest, obviously, Maurice Murray is a strong possibility right now as we are his only major offer. The PG is a possibilty as well, I just think that we have other needs. Still a lot of time left and it is entirely feasible that one or both of the schollies will be filled by players not on this list.

I saw this kid play. I wasn't overly impressed. Not a great athlete. Good body control around the basket. His team includes Indiana commit Jerome Hunter. He just seemed like another kid on the floor despite his size. I think Stacey was there when we watched him and he seems to be the guy in on the offer. He was a Jr so he can always get better and big guys often grow into their bodies athletically.
