Nothing like adding a 20 game starter to a 7-2 team for some depth. Lets hope he assimilates nicely.

They are 6-2. We are 7-2. Something has to give!
They only average 69 points a game but only give up 60. (We average 85 offensively and 81 defensively).
This will be an interesting game. They seem to start a smaller group. Maybe we sit Koch or dictate with our size. Their best player is out. They have lost 2 of their last 3 with the win coming over Oakland City, which sounds like its from GTA.

Pretty evenly marched game so far. 30-29 Evansville with 4 min remaining 1st half.

I think we are more talented but they are much more fundamental.

We take low percentage shots, they take layups.
Every time they attack they seem to get to the basket.
We are not boxing out. They do it exceptionally well.

Not sure what they would do if they had their best player.

Halftime, BG is down 46-40.

This is a team that we could beat. They don't strike me as anything spectacular, though they are fundamentally sound.

If we buckle down on defense a bit more and find our stroke, we should be fine.

We are shooting 27% from 3. Our offense can not be just shooting 3s. Need to do something.

I been watching Wiggins closely all game. I called him out a few games ago and against Norfolk State surprisingly he did well against their 2 big men. Tonight however back to patty cake with Wiggins.

Yes Wiggins has 7 1st half rebounds but only 3 points. However on defense he has allowed 14 points against him in the paint by not attempting to block, not block out and giving up an offense rebound or letting the player drive by him. Stop being so soft Wiggins!!!

On a side note, Ball State is up on #9 Notre Dame at the half in South Bend.

Wiggins needs to sit the bench. 2 turnovers. Missed free throw.
