Malik is not a D1 player, looks like he might not quite be a D2 player either. Jans must have thought he could develop his skill to match his athleticism. Rasheed would be helping us right now and could probably be putting up those numbers.

Rasheed was a big loss. He would have been great to have around to add some size and strength to this team.

Malik was a freak athlete, but not super polished as a basketball player.
