BG vs CMU at CMU Monday
BG vs CMU at CMU Monday
Maybe just as well. Had WMU beat CMU today BG would have hosted OU Monday. No worries, we've seen the last of BGSU basketball at the Stroh for the 2017/18 season both men's and women's.

I accidentally turned on the Womens game. Why do they play quarters?
Re: BG vs CMU at CMU Monday
Women have been playing quarters for I can't remember how long now. It cuts down on one media timeout. As they only have a media timeout at the 5-minute mark Plus at the end of the quarter so they have three media timeout opposed to four. Free throws for each quarter begin when they hit 5 personal files, and all free throws are two shots. Don't worry, the NIT is going to experiment with these rules this year for the men and they may be implemented into 2019 season. So in 2019 we may see quarters, five fouls per quarter, and get this one, the shot clock after an offensive rebound resets to 20 and not 30. Also, advancing the ball to half court after a timeout just like the NBA.

I don't see any of those things as broken. Very strange.gmartin wrote:Women have been playing quarters for I can't remember how long now. It cuts down on one media timeout. Defending our offense has to be one of the easiest thing for other teams to do. This offense is terrible.
And our defense is terrible.
And our defense is terrible.

Re: BG vs CMU at CMU Monday
Hey Wiggins!! How about moving your feet and guarding your guy on defense.

Wide open and can't hit anything.
Re: BG vs CMU at CMU Monday
Fox, Wiggins and Koch cannot play defense. The only two that play decent defense are Lillard and Turner. Lillard needs to never take a shot outside of the lane. Just drive the whole time.
