BG vs Hartford

I'm probably the only one wasting a Saturday afternoon watching this game, and by the looks of it the team isn't interested either.

We're 13 minutes in and have 11 points. We may have more turnovers than points. Down by 14 and we're looking them on the glass.

Honestly this team shouldn't be able to stay on the floor with us, but of course they play a lot of zone and we're clueless against it.

Down 32-23 at the half. What an awful half it was. Thanks kfuoly their best player got 2 fouls so he didn't play for most of the last 5-6 mins or so. They started missing shots, we made some to cut it to 4. They brought Carroll back in and he scored 5 in the last minute of the half to put us down 9 again.

Hartford cannot get a rebound to save their lives but thus far it's not helping us. We cannot score at all. No clue what we're even trying to accomplish on offense. At this point our best offense is to just put up something stupid and crash the boards.

For some reason, I'm spending my rainy Saturday afternoon watching this, too. We are a frustrating team to watch. We look great for stretches, & then we have several minutes where we act like we've never seen a basketball before. I hope some of the other teams in the MAC are as schizophrenic as we are.

That game was disgusting. No excuse for losing too that team at all. No athletes or size and we simply failed too exert our will against them. I cannot fathom how a team of upperclassmen can be so baffled by zone defenses.
