Radio complaints again

Well last night I was also outta luck as 1230 AM didn't carry the game. I think they had a CMU girls game on or something. Girls basketball over the radio...how exciting

After dancing around for a half hour I was able to finally get the antenna placed on top of the TV to allow me to receive 107.7. It was still staticky as all get out, but it was tolerable.
I really wish they could find a way to get a decent signal in Bowling Green for Bowling Green basketball games...

Either that or tell me which antenna I need to buy for my home stereo to get the reception I need. I have a high end antenna and have no problem getting in most of the Toledo radio stations, but the Findlay ones are a bear. I get 1230 in quite fine, but apparently I cannot count on that station to carry all the games
Its just kind of annoying to not get BG basketball games on the radio when I can look out my window and see Offenhauer Towers.

Hammb, you can just come over to my house and listen to the game next time.

AM 1230 is the home of the Womens team up north. So anytime Toledo women play the same night at the BG men (at home), they will cover the game on AM 1230.
107.7 FM usually has every game and comes in clear.

I have no problems with 107.7 at all. I'm surprised someone living south of BG does. 107 has taken care of all the problems with reception that we had with 1230, which anyone could have told them wasn't going to work for BG.

I live about 1 mile north of BG...possibly 2 miles.
I get 1230 in quite fine, but 107.7 comes in with a lot of static. After playing with it for quite awhile I was able to get a tolerable signal, but still not what I would expect for my proximity to BG.

Last night, I drove from the Dorr/Holland-Sylvania area and took the Tpike home, I could listen to 107.7 ALMOST all the way to Elmore. Once I got home though, I couldn't get ANYTHING other than the wbgufm.com stream.

Well, WKNR and WHK in Cleveland are not carrying ANY BG hoops games this year.
I have to listen to any and every game on the net...last year, I could get more than half the games on regular radio in my house.
Hopefully this coming year, we can get this all worked out. I HATE not being able to listen to games without going on the net.
GO FALCONS....BEAT UT!! Please...

hammb, have you tried 105.7 out of Defiance? I live about 30 miles from there and get pretty decent reception. They will have the games if they don't conflict with their high school coverage.

I tried it Tuesday, didn't get much reception there either. Never tried it in the car to see how it compares. As I said I get 107.7 in fine in the car though.

Sounds like you need to go sit outside in your car
