That School Up North (2/9)

Another massive game at the Stroh Center this weekend.

It’s time for our boys to really throw a huge counter punch towards that school to our north. They’ve got a darn good basketball team, but I feel that ours is even better.

It’s going to be a difficult game on Saturday at 6, but just like last Friday night, the crowd CAN and WILL have an impact, as there are currently less than 100 reserved seats remaining for the game.

Bowling Green doesn’t lay down for anyone anymore. Wear your orange and scream your lungs out. Let’s get it done, boys.

It's going to be a second straight sellout according to the athletic department. Awesome. This community shows up when they have a good team to watch. I won't be able to make the trip, unfortunately, but I'm already thinking about how I can make it to Cleveland for the tourney. Looking forward to watching on TV!

At the very least they still show up to watch weekend games against premier MAC competition when we have a good team to watch.

I still think we have a ways to go to draw decent crowds for Eastern on a Tuesday, but so be it. This is the first step, and if you had asked me before the year I would have laughed at the notion that we'd get a single 4000 game. The fact that we might have back to back 5000 games? That's awesome, and I love it.

I can't wait for Saturday. I went with a buddy on Friday, so my wife & son have still not actually seen a rocking BG basketball game. It's gonna be a whole new world for 'em.

For real, where are all of these people coming from? I assumed the well was dry.

I will say they should’ve done reserved only. If you’re not there by 5 you’re absolutely screwed

Reserved and General Admission seats are all sold out. There are apparently very few premium seats left, but I imagine those are going quickly, too.

It'll be another packed Stroh tomorrow night, as it should always be.

I can't wait.

All tied up at 22 with 6 min left....shaping up to be a great game.

BTW, why are we playing Tsun only once again this year? But we play CMU and WMU twice.

At the half, Tsun leads 35-33. Been a good game but BG needs to box out better.

Heck of a battle. Make free throws and don't go 5/27 from three and it's a different story.

If we play again, I like our chances. But we've gotta put in the work.
