The BGSU men's basketball team (19-7, 11-2), fresh off their 3rd victory against Akron in 30 tries, now heads on the road to Athens to play the Ohio Bobcats, who are 11-14 overall and 3-10 in the MAC. OU enters this game following a 47-point loss (!) to Buffalo on Tuesday night. The game will tip-off on Friday, February 22nd at 6:30pm, and it's a nationally televised game that can be viewed on CBSSN.

Simply put, Ohio is not a very good basketball team. We beat them by 19 the first time around here at the Stroh in early January, and they haven't really taken off since then, either. They sit in last place in the MAC East, so while we should not be looking past them, we should absolutely win this game. Being in first place, the target on our back is huge, but we should be good enough to overcome that and get the win. By 1 or 100, the margin doesn't really matter - just as long as we secure win #20 on the season and come back to Northwest Ohio still in first place in the MAC with 4 to play.

It's never easy on the road, but this team has what it takes to get it done - now let's get after it and beat those Bobcats.

Go Falcons!

It's GAME DAY. Time to go on the road and clinch a ticket straight to Cleveland.

Always a tough place to win. Win this one and we're in great shape for the conference tournament.

I'm watching on TV and listening to the radio. Where are the stats? The link on bgsufalcons is broken.

That is two games in a row where BG has fouled a three point shooter toward the end of a game. WTF? That allowed Ohio a chance to tie the game at the end and they did (that and poor defense). Going to OT when this game should have already been won.

BG fell in love with the 3 in overtime. Ugh.

A lackluster performance all around. Falcons fall 92-87 in OT

Garbage defense the whole night set the tone. Then the ot period completely forgetting anything resembling offense. Blech.

That's a bad loss

This team apparently doesn't like Southern Ohio. O-2 at Miami and OU...two games they should have won.

Bingo. Wiggins didn't the touch the ball in OT. D effort wasn't there tonight.

Get back at it Tuesday at the Stroh.
