Probably the biggest non-conference game of the year, and definitely the toughest venue they will be playing in. LSU has a deep roster with a five-star freshman.
While I think this is the best roster BG has had in a long while, I think this game will go heavily in LSU's favor unless Juice and Frye are nailing every three they throw up. LSU has a ton of size and quickness down low that I don't think the BG forwards/centers will be able to stop. It's on SEC+, which means most people will have to stream it through ESPN+ or Hulu Live, I believe. If BG can keep it within 10, I think we'll turn a few heads.

I actually think we match up pretty well with them, all things considered. From what I've read, Watford was a big time get for them and definitely adds size, his game isn't that of a traditional post player though. More of a super athletic wing that will face up and create his own shot from what I've read on the LSU boards. Interesting to see who they start out guarding him (Plowden)? Anyone think we'll be able to contain this kid or no chance?
Aside from having bigger guards, looks like they'll have 4 starters 6'6" and smaller to go along with Watford. Javonte Smart and Skylar Mays are studs, looking forward to that matchup with our back court. Completely agree that Turner and Frye will have to be hitting from outside. Have to think we won't stand much of a chance unless we get 40+ between them.

Big time players show up in big time games.
I don't expect a win by any means, but I do hope we're competitive throughout. There will be a gap, but I pray we see some fight and heart from this team on the road.
Go Falcons!

BG is a 13.5-14 point dog depending upon who you look at.

TV? couldn't find much. SEC+ has it listed but that part of the SEC package I do not have. I thought maybe YOUTUBE TV may have it but, not sure how to check for that.

Their board play, I suspect, will be the difference. I have a feeling we are not going to out rebound a top 25 team.

This is good news but from what I've read (very little), he is also a project so I'm not sure what he brings us tonight. Does anyone have more info on him that would indicate he is better than Mattos/Sierra?

I believe if you have ESPN+ you'll be able to watch the game.

Starting lineup is Frye, Turner, Fields, Plowden, and Mattos. 7-8 at the first timeout.

20-18 at the 12 minute break. Frye is hitting some beautiful shots.

And we decided that turnovers sound like fun. 20-31 at the under 8.

We were down by as much as 15 but got the deficit back to 10 for the half. We are trying to play too fast at times and we get sloppy.
Swingle is a BIG kid!
