BG takes on Hartford today at the Stroh. 12:00pm on ESPN3.

In the “great news” department: Justin Turner is warming up, and he hopes to play today. If he goes, I would assume he is on a minutes restriction, mostly as a tune up before MAC play.

Regardless, great news that he’ll be back in the fold.

Let’s get back on track today, fellas! Go Falcons!

Oh thank God.

And thank you for the news! I'm out and about and not going to be able to keep up, so would not have known for a while yet.

I’ve been at lunch with family, so I didn’t get to watch the first half. But I have been following along.

Halftime: BG 40, Hartford 28

Turner has played and he’s our leading scorer at the half with 9.

We are a different team at full strength. Who would have thought we’d be better with an NBA talent on the floor?

J Turner has been a difference on the court. He is definitely on limited minutes by the looks of it. He’s the first one out.

On a different note, we have one player missing from the bench: Garson.

I've settled in to watch the 2nd half.

At the under-16 timeout, BG leads 50-37.

Juice is the first sub again. He's pretty clearly still playing with the training wheels while he recovers, but he's been very efficient on the floor.

Trey Diggs is big time, man.

7:42 left, BG leads 63-55.

Lots of fouls this half have really slowed the tempo of the game down and taken us out of rhythm offensively.

Gotta close it out here.

With 4:58 left in the game, BG leads 67-62. This is as close as it has been since the first half, at the beginning of the game.

Too many turnovers this half. Gotta take care of the basketball.

Mattos has had some bad turnovers, but he's also had some great putbacks down the stretch here in the second half. He's going to continue to improve, and he has a chance to be really good as he becomes more consistent and comfortable. Reminds me a little bit of a young Wiggins, where he shows flashes but he also frustrates you sometimes because you know what he has in him.

I think he has a real chance to be a good one here.

Juice with a big and-one opportunity!

Sinks the free throw. BG up 74-63.

Hartford is double-teaming Justin Turner.

The type of spacing that gives guys like Dylan Frye and Trey Diggs is incredible. It helps our offense a ton to have him out there.

FINAL: Bowling Green 81, Hartford 68

It was a 5-point game with 4:58 to play. And yet, BG wins by 13.

6-0 at the Stroh, 9-4 overall.

Let's win the MAC.

Juice went for 22 in relatively limited action during his return. Great to have #1 back.
