Thanks to a tip from TG1996, I discovered Big Nate's! What's Big Nate's you ask??

Check out http://www.bignates.com/ (if the link stays live...doesn't seem to be real stable)

I am now the proud owner of a bottle of Big Nate's BBQ sauce, a t-shirt and a menu too, thanks to my friend Moss who lives in SF and drives past Big Nate's on a daily basis!

Photos from Moss and of my new goodies are at:

P.S. you can check out Moss' website at http://www.greasepig.com

this is EXACTLY how I pictured a "Big Nate's BBQ" to look like, too.

Now if I can just get up to Elmore and thieve me some memorabilia, I'll be set. It actually might have been worth the horrible crowd and bad time slot of that bowl game out there to be so so close to Big Nate's!!!

Very cool!!! I love bbq and had a great time at The Brick PIt (www.thebrickpit.com) when I was in Mobile for the GMAC Bowl.

The Brick PIt came darn close to knocking off Arthur Bryant's in KC, MO as the best bbq I have ever had!

Nate was a great player and as my dad points out the answer to a question posed to both Wilt Chamberlin and Bill Russell when they were asked "Who is the toughest defender you played agains?"

I will always remember the game when Nate got his number retired and my dad took me to shake his hand, I was only about 6 or 7, but it will stand out- even more so now when I have realized just how great an honor it is to have your number retired at Bowling Green.
