Well the first announced game is an interesting one for a few reasons. At West Virginia on November 20.

The Dakich Bowl!
We won’t win this one if we don’t figure out how to deal with the press.

Michael Huger on scheduling WVU:
"Facing off against a top-25 team will be a great early-season test for our squad. While every game is important, games against top-25 programs help expand and grow the national brand of Bowling Green basketball."

Early "Home" game for Metheny. We might have a bonus fan base there.

Looks like BG is at Oakland next year.

FWIW, Cleve St. Is going to play BOTH Kentucky and Duke along with Nebraska this coming season. Admittedly, these are CASH games, but point is they were able to get on those schedules.

Kentucky, Duke, and Nebraska see Cleveland State as a highly winnable game. BGSU is a potential loss for them. That’s why.

Nothing beats Eastern Michigan two seasons ago. Games at Duke, Rutgers, TCU, and Kansas, along with four home games against non division 1 teams.

D1 Docket has BG @ Western Carolina to open the season on Nov. 10 (hopefully). Catamounts were #156 in Ken Pom last season, clearly behind the top three in the SoCon.

That'd be a fun little campus trip for those who are able. Campus is in the middle of the Blue Ridge mountains and they have decent athletic facilities (at least it seemed like it ten years ago). I'd make the trip from Nashville if it weren't a Tuesday.

D1 Docket came across FOIA docs that show BG hosting Oakland Dec. 12. BG then goes to the Kampe Dome the two following seasons.

Ya know....aside from any big games that we learn about, it's May, and I could give a rip about games against the Oaklands/ClevelandStates/IUPUIs/EasternKentuckys/Detroits during the cloud-covered hell of midwestern November and December. Give me the schedule when it's finalized. No offense.

I totally get it. Still in all, as I've come to believe football is an overrated sport, I've stayed away from that forum and been in this one & WBB more. I don't know if others agree, but looking forward to basketball and Olympic sports is more fun.

BG to play at Georgia in mid-November!
