I don't put much stock in this because they are only using winning percentage. "Home Court" is more than a statistic. It's an atmosphere.

I think tonight's atmosphere in the 2nd half proved that. The crowd stayed loud the whole 2nd half and that definitely helped win the game...

Imagine if our crowd was like this at every game!!!!!! This was the first time in a long time that I've seen the western side (the "seasoned" fans) so alive and into the game!!!!! Just picture the effect it would have, if the fans were always this crazy!!!!!!!!
Always there to cheer on the Falcons.......GO BG!!!!

A great "atmosphere" should translate into a better winning percentage than 116th don't you think?

Right, you can't measure home court advantage in anything BUT wins. What's our record at home over the years....good and bad, I think its pretty good.

Maybe now the crowd can show up for more than just one game a year.

A crowd and atmosphere like at Anderson Arena for the BG/UT game is what makes the Cameron Crazzies at Duke's Cameron Indoor Stadium the best. They come out for every game no matter who they are playing. They certainly get more excited over teams like North Carolina than they do say Campbell. But they are there, period, no matter who they are playing. That is what we need at BG. We need that type of turnout and excitement for teams all the time, not just Toledo or when we can lure a school like Michigan into coming here. We already have a hard enough time getting non-conference teams to play us at home as it is, why the heck not make it pure hell for the MAC teams that have to come?!?!

Hey now! Don't be talking bad about them Camels!

If you can't keep up with the Camels, stay the hell outta' the creek!

If you think Anderson Arena is small, you haven't seen anything - take a look at the Carter Dome (Carter Gymnasium). It seats 947 (or so they say).

I wasn't talking "bad" about Campbell, I was just using it as a local example team for Duke. Campbell, High Point, Elon, Appalachian State, UNC Asheville, these are just some examples. Point being, the Cameron Crazzies come out to see Duke play the opponents, much more than they come out to see the opponent play Duke. That is what makes them a great 6th Man.
