On Groundhog Day, our Falcons (10-7, 6-5 MAC) will head to Ypsilanti to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles (4-8, 1-7 MAC) in another conference outing. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, and it is slated to begin at 7:00pm.

I'm not going to go in depth on this one. If we don't win this one... I think most of the fan base will check out for the year.

That's why these coaches get the big salaries that BGSU can't actually afford. To say literally nothing in the midst of a second consecutive season meltdown. Bob Moosbrugger gave an extension & 90K per year raise to a coach who was 2 games above .500 at the time, because he thought he would be hired away.

I'm going to predict the spread on Tuesday's game to be even, maybe EMU by one. Sad.

This game has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues, so we're now playing WMU on Wednesday, instead of Saturday. I'll have a new write-up posted shortly.

This game was postponed a few weeks ago, and it's now set to be played tomorrow night, Tuesday, February 23. It's still set to be played at 7:00pm and shown on ESPN+.

We're trying our win streak from 2 to 3 and keep the momentum on our side, and I really hope we can do it. We're still in a battle for tournament position at this point, so it's important for us that this ends up as a BG W.

Metheny with a nice three to start. When his shot is falling, we're a different (better) team.

I love Swingle. He brings so much to the floor. Very dynamic player.

BG is down 16-7 with an EMU free throw coming up after the break. 7 points in 9 minutes is... not very good, but also really not surprising.

WIth 7:28 to play in the first half, EMU leads 25-12.

This EMU team is 1-8 in the MAC, and they only have one D1 win - it was Akron, but still. This should not be happening.

It's 29-12.

BG is down 29-10! EMU has won 4 games this year....4.... SMH

Our press is really bothering EMU and suddenly it's 29-23.

HALF: EMU leads 31-28.

BG closed the half on a 16-2 run. No reason we shouldn't win this game - after a dreadful start, we made it clear we're the better team. EMU will try to counter here, but we need to have an answer for it - this isn't a game that we can afford to give away, and being down just 3 at halftime feels like we should be able to comfortably win it now.

I hate what this team puts me through emotionally, man.
