You GOTTA bring up a guy named, Lamar Mundane!!
In case any of you didn't know (yeah right) I'm a bit of an 80's junkie. The 80's had some fantastic basketball related commercials, from the Converse Weapon commercials, to the original Air Jordan commercials (anyone remember MJ playing one-on-one with Santa Claus??) to the Reebok pump, to even a fantastic Pony City Wings commercial with Orlando Woolridge and Spud Webb.
Apart from the Jordan commercials, there has been one Reebok commercial that has been in my mind since 1988...I've searched all my vhs tapes and haven't been able to find it... I posted something on my blog about it a couple ago, and had a few nibbles, but never any real bites.
Well, FINALLY, after years of searching for this commercial, I have it to share with anyone who's interested! It was sent to me by one of the actors in the original commercial. (he's the white guy who nods about 2/3 of the way through).
I realize not everyone shares my passion for 80's sneaker commercials, but it's my site and if I want to post something about them, I will!
NOW, to find that MJ/Santa clip....
