AA at its finest...

Well worth the trip up for the Freaks. Saw so many folks and a GREAT comeback....prolly the greatest game I've ever seen in AA. Sat with Ed and Michelle in the top row of section N.

AA gets so freakin loud it's crazy. Poor Jake had to have his ears covered cuz it was so loud.

I watched the game on tape today and it was just as exciting on TV as live....almost.

What an incredible comeback....the followup slam by Fitch early in the 2nd off the Wright missed 3 was HUGE. Then JR starts raining treys...he is one of the best pure shooters I've ever seen. Seeing Coach D going crazy on the sideline was worth the price of admission itself. Triplett is a playa...too bad he and the rest of his team can't play as a TEAM. So much talent, so little chemistry.

And once again, Josh asked me if we could move to BG....I win the lottery and I'll buy a house there...

What a great day....

BEAT CMU!!

Freak,

I'm going to have to agree whole-heartedly with you. I have never been prouder of Falcon fans -- ever. In my book, the atmosphere in the second half last night beat out the College Gameday experience last year. Unbelievable. What made me even prouder was the fact that our fans were cheering for BG and not throwing insults at Toledo. I thought the stuff chanted at Triplet was clever, creative, and to be honest, he earned everything he got out there with the way he acted.

It was great seeing you and the Freaklings before the game. Once I heard Jake screech there wasn't much doubt in my mind that we would win the game! 8)

Also, if it isn't too much trouble, I might like to buy a copy of the tape of the game from you. I completely forgot to ask anyone to tape it for me, and that game was just a classic. If it's possible, just name the price!

Oh yeah, the Anderson Animals is the coolest thing I've ever seen. They are loud, but they are classy, too. You can't beat that combination.

No problem, Bleeding! I'll have my dad run off a copy after he gets back from Florida...although it may be a while with the weather we're having.

Yep, Jake and his Falcon screech are the best. :D

C ya on 2/19 for hoops and hockey!

Saturday's game is one I will not forget for a while. It reminded me of my early years at BG with Antonio Daniels and then Antholy Stacy. We have to figure out a way to keep this thing rolling. On a side note, if the arena holds only 4700 and there were 4708 there then the capacity numbers must be wrong. I say quite a few open seats at the game. I always though the capacity was the same as the Ice Arena (5000).

Listen old man, can't you just enjoy a win and not fuss about the capacity of Anderson Arena? I mean, seriously, what are you, 28? And way to not call me after the game. I'll bet you were busy counting the seats in Anderson first-hand, weren't you?!?!

On a serious note, that win was awesome and I'm not sure if Falcon basketball would be the same without your "seasoned" presence.

Mike,
Forgot about the "bracket buster" bball game... Joyce and I are planning on going to the hockey game (alumni/FB season tix special)...might as well go up on Fri. nite and see both...this is what I want to see the Cleve. alums do...instead of finding some bar with music, on the same nite the Falcons are playing at KSU! Maybe I'll get them to change eventually....BTW, we DO need to "reschedule" our visit...Now have even more pix from GMAC bowl that are sweet... Will be happy to "trade" a tape of the TU game (basketball of course) for another burned CD. Rest of your stuff is still waiting...just been a problem with my dad in the hospital.

Tape Of Toledo Game

Mike -- I'd love to have a copy of that Toledo game, if you don't mind. Shoot, I'll give you some cash for it! That one is worth preserving! I know this isn't the football forum, but Dennis brought up the GMAC Bowl and I was kind of wondering if anyone had done a tape or dvd of that game. I emailed Mitch to see if he had done the dvd's, but I haven't heard from him.

Bleeding, 61 & 99,

I will have to get to my dad's to do a few copies. I will find out when he gets back from Florida.

A reminder...the BG/OU game on 2/7 will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio as will the BG/Miami game on 3/5.

The Miami game is on 2/27 Freak. I know because I have to buy like twenty tickets for my in-laws and such so they can come watch the Pollitz twins (sit on the bench).

Funny thing. If you go to order tickets on-line for that game, they have the Miami Hurricane logo up as the opponent instead of a RedHawk.

When they count up total attendance they count EVERYBODY inside the gate, not just people with their butt is a seat (or standing infront of seat as the case may be). That is how you always see crowd figures that are bigger than the capacity. Since the the total was 4708, there could have easily been 50-100 empty seats. There were several seats up in the corner with me (thats what I get for showing up late).
