Non-guaranteed, so probably not on the roster come opening night, but I'd say there is a really good chance he gets a two-way deal by the season, if not from the Pelicans, from someone. If he can get a season-long roster spot, though, the NBA minimum is up over $1 million starting this season.

Good for Plowden. Hard worker, nice guy, great rep for BG.

Attended more games than any responsible student should have.

If he's cleaned up his shooting motion consistency as rumored, I do not find this surprising at all.

You know that little moment of hesitation that elite scorers have on a turn around jumper? Where they seem to just ... STOP ... and then take the shot before dropping? Kind of like Fiona in Shrek when she's kicking the Merry Men's butts?

He never once did that that I saw in college. Tried it. Hit some. But never had that moment of perfect stillness.

It's on his summer league highlight real.

Plus, dunking over people after blowing by a closeout.

Granted these are highlights. But I would SWEAR he looks better v borderline NBA players than he ever did for us.

Probably helps to have an actual offense to play in.

I watched Plowden enough in college to be able to tell with 95% accuracy whether or not he was going to hit a 3 just by his motion before the ball left his hands. He had a particular lack of confidence that led to a visible inconsistency in his shooting rhythm.

I barely ever got to see him live. I used to be able to do that with Jay Larranage back in the day. If he shot with his momentum going slightly forward, off his toes, it went in. IF not.... Well, it was better than Plowden but not nearly as likely.
