Your boys deserve a congrats for their play saturday, so congrats. I admit I thought the game was in the bag at halftime, I also admit that I thought a good number of faithful would file out at halftime... boy was I ever wrong. Props to the fans for staying(and being loud), and props to your hoops team for never quitting.
See you at Savage...

TJ,
You're a good fan and hell of a follower...just the wrong team!
Seriously, thanks for the congrats. If there is one thing that BG/UT football game reinforced for me was that it's NEVER over. Until I see triple zeros on the clock and one team has more points than the other, it is never over. I never leave early. Whatever the sport, even if BG is getting pummeled, I don't leave.
Good lesson for my sons about walking out of a game early. I thought we were dead at the half...I thought UT would run us out of our own gym. But whatever Dakich said needs to be bottled for future use.
The 2nd half was eerily similar to the football game....GREAT game.
Wish I could make it to Savage on 2/9...gotta work til 6 here in the Cleveland area.
GO FALCONS!

That was one hell of a basketball game. The rockettes worked hard at both ends, they just didn't have that extra gear the falcons came out with in the second half.
UT has blown 15pt+ leads on the road to Buffalo and BG. Anything can happen once, but when somehting like that happens twice in about a month, you should start looking at the coach
Flipper ... I was thinking the same thing ...

I have a good friend who is a UT fan and my exact words to him were "Now I know why you guys aren't too happy with Joplin." Dakich made some adjustments at the half to counter their overplaying defense (screen for people cutting to the basket was noticeable) and Stan never seemed to adjust to what we came out and did. If they backed off, we found the open players for threes. I suppose the only thing anyone can really say to defend Stan is that it's hard to stop a team that comes out, scores 53 points, and shoots 76% doing it. They looked shell-shocked, and Stan looked like he didn't know what to do.
