And your Bill Frack game for 22-23 is....

Toledo...yet again.
Would Michael Huger like to actually exhume the corpse of Mr. Frack so he can personally slap him in the face, or is the metaphorical slapping good enough for him?
I mean with the s**t schedule that he put out there it's not surprising at all. What else would have made sense, maybe AF, but unlikely for the opener. The rest of the OOC schedule is every bit as embarrassing as making your in conference rivalry game the "Frack Challenge".
Another afternoon weekday game too. I know they do it to get school kids there, but we should be able to trade our tickets in or something. My kid is actually going to be in class that day; my wife will be teaching. Highly unlikely I take time away from work to watch a game at 11:00 on a Monday; at least they made it one of the many D2 games we play...

How insulting to Mr. Frack. I guess it would've been even more insulting if they threw his name on any of these games. Embarrassing.
Queens University of Charlotte
Morgan State
UT Martin
Fairmont State
Ohio Dominican
I really hope DVDM makes some big positive changes to the athletic department. In the last 15 years the department heads have turned something I loved and scheduled my day around to something I can do without.

Definitely hope he realizes the original intent of the gift and holds the program accountable in honoring it. We'll see. I'm sure his ear will be open early on to the alumni base and season tickets holders about where the biggest issues are.

If you have season tickets, you ARE able to trade in tickets for one game for additional tickets for another game. It's something BGSU has been doing for years.

I realize my situation isn't the norm, but I'm excited about that game. I'll take a couple hours off work (I work on campus), my wife starts her winter break that day, and my son, who is only 2 years old, will not need a nap at that time. That might be the easiest game for us to attend all year long. Plus, with all of the school kids there, my son might enjoy a lot of the kid-oriented things.

Wow, I seriously had no idea!
That's good to know and something I'll absolutely take advantage of.

Yeah. I understand why they do it. It's good for the program to get some local kids exposed. I remember attending football games with free tickets we got from school when I was a kid. I get that it works for some people, but it certainly doesn't work for most. Maybe I'm mistaken, maybe my family's Christmas break starts then too, I hadn't considered that. For me it'd certainly be time away from work, but knowing I can trade the tickets in for another game I'll probably do so regardless. I can't believe I didn't realize that was even a thing.
At least they had the wherewithal to stop making the mid-day game the "Fan Appreciation" game.
I'm still salty about the Frack Challenge being Toledo or Findlay every year for the past 4-5 years. That's just a disgrace.

This is maybe a dumb question, but is Huger the sole person responsible for scheduling? Is it the DBO? Athletic Director's office? A little of everyone? Just curious who has had a hand in the horrible scheduling over the last 6-7 years.

Air force wasn't going to be the frack game because it's an easy heroes night along with a home opener. Nothing else is an interesting matchup non conference so toledo again. Not as important but none of the theme nights excite me but curious what they will do on valentines day. Other school districts must get out earlier because my wife is a teacher and teaches through the 22nd so no school day game for us.
Ticket exchange was pretty easy before everything was digital (haven't tried since) but there was usually a game or two that was off limits to reclaim. Still a really good program and one they should advertise more because it's always nice to have a couple extra tickets for mac games.
The head coach is the main person for scheduling for all sports outside of football. At least this was true in the kingston era. The ad and associate ad in charge of basketball can help if needed but I assume with huger's experience and connections he does a very high majority of it

You exchange tickets directly from your account. The same screen that has the ticket transfer also has the ticket exchange.

Don't feel foolish. I think It's only been in effect when they went to electronic ticketing 2 years ago. It's still a stupid idea...print your own tickets and you can't just use your cell phone because they can't read your screen...but there's that.

Of course it is, it's not even offered on my tv package.
And like hell I am paying $10 a month for ESPN +. Even if they carry every one of our games - why pay money to torture myself?
