Not a chance that I would use my Tuesday night to pay money (tickets, parking, concessions, etc.) for this game. No disrespect to those that may, but I have zero desire to do that. It's not worth it to me.

Here's hoping we look better than Friday night and come away with an exhibition win against an opponent we should clearly overmatch. They were 5-23 last year, at whatever level it is that they play at.

I will say after looking at the schedule again. Our November isn't...awful? Obviously the big one is Notre Dame. But starting against a Mountain West team, albeit a bad one isn't terrible. Oakland/Wright State are always tough outs and Southern Indiana at least plays in a solid conference.

December opponents are a literal joke like laugh out loud Dave Chappelle stand up level funny of a joke.

We're planning on going although the ticket site still says "check back 48 hrs from game time" to load my tickets and I haven't had time to call the box office yet.

These games are always meh, but it's sneakers squeaking and the kiddo has fun. He wishes we played tiffin though, he likes the dragons logo.

I'll be there since I always have season tickets and I get a parking pass with the lowest falcon club level. I'm not excited about the season but I'm excited to be back at the stroh for basketball. Mansfield is D2 and has won 15 games the past 3 years so it should be an easy victory. It is an exhibition so we will see

Will is the new guy in charge of the ticket office and has been very helpful in my experience if you send him an email

BG leads 28-25 with 7 minutes to play in the first half, according to Twitter.

This shouldn’t even be close. Embarrassing.

We lead them by 3 with 7 minutes left in the half.

Hence the radio silence.

46-30 at half. I knew I should have come to this game. Ayers played like 4 minutes and never back in. Why?

Were you at? Scouting reports. Why does Diawara play 5 minutes and then get three rebounds.

Man, these games are tough to really learn anything. We pulled away and had the lead in the 20s, but we could never completely put the game away. We never were in danger of actually losing it, but they cut it down to 13-14 points several times late in the game. Guys like Curtis, Matheny, and Agee were still in the game up until the waning minutes.

To me Agee looks like our best player. He & Curtis might be the only guys on the team who can actually play right now. And neither are stars. I suspect Agee won't be quite as impressive going up against better competition, but I noticed him in the 2nd half @ WVU as well, so maybe there is something there.

Curtis can play. Looked a lot like last year crashing toward the rim, but can actually finish enough of them to be worthwhile.

Matheny's shot still looks broken. He did knock down a couple, but took a lot of shots to get his points today.

I see the appeal of Lightfoot and Ayers, but neither looked ready to be major players this year. Glimpses of what got them here, but neither really stood out.

I just don't know, tough to gauge too much on an exhibition against a school nobody has ever heard of, but not a lot to be encouraged by either.

With that 15 point win, some box-score-only impressions.

Holy crap can we not shoo.t under 50% at the FT line and 16% from 3. <SHUDDER>

Matheny can play just fine - against smaller, slower opponents. That may well turn out to be his best shooting night of the season. I honestly and fervently hope I am wrong. I have nothing at all against his hustle and energy. Never heard a bad word about him as a person. He just seems overmatched.

Agee can overpower teams like that.

O'neal still has nice touch around the basket.

Turner had some nice nights for us on offense last year. That does not seem to have carried over.

Curtis may be the most talented guy on the team like some say, but man the boxscore does not show it. A decent night, yeah. But more turnovers than assists for a lead offensive player is not a good look against any competition. Against this team? <more shudders>

What was up with Diawarra. I don’t get it. He’s averaging like a rebound a minute.
