Gonna be a tough one. They've won all 3 of their exhibitions, including a 92-27 win over Defiance College on Monday.
They were 20-12 last year, and HC Greg Kampe is an institution. I wonder what the alternate timeline where he ends up here (he's an alumnus, playing here from 74-78) as HC looks like.

Win or lose, here's to hoping we come out with the same intensity as Monday.

This game is 100% BG
Very Bad shot selection
Only in it because we are making threes. 58% now
I have been literally yelling at the screen....move without the basketball!
Diarawa is a little lost out there

Judging purely by the box score:
Matheny only took 4 shots, hit 2 of them (both 3's.) this is encouraging.
Only 1 person took more than 5 shots - Ayers. And he is 5 of 10 for 16 points. we are actually feeding the hot hand instead of forcing our own offense? Is that possible?

Yeah when you go unconscious from 3 for a half everything feels good. Nice half.
I'm not optimistic we can put multiple halves together like that but play some defense and maybe we can use that hot half to lead to a win.

Nope hes just shooting nad not passing himself.
If Ohio had gambling I'd bet on Oakland to win this for sure. We are still really bad at offense.

WEll - that stat feed did not show hte entire first half. And now Ayers is 6 of 18. Was 5 of 10.
MAtheny is 4 opf 6 from 3, so that's nice. And we hav a small lead in the middle fo the 2nd half on the road.

Turner has played well tonight. Aggressive, finishing at the rim, grabbing rebounds, no fouls. He’s definitely not the reason they are blowing it.

I tuned in during the second half and it took one possession to see just how stupid this team is (basketball stupid)...or maybe it's just undisciplined and poorly coached. All of the above?
If they aren't running a break, they have no clue how to run an offense. It makes me cringe to watch them in the half court.
Please, Mr. new AD: get us a real coach soon.

I enjoy Agee's game. He's a mean cuss around the rim and we need that when we go into brick laying mode.

Win-Lose, Oakland is going to have a decent squad this season and BG has played them tough. We are not well-coached, obviously, but there is some very solid talent on this team.
