It's half time. We are up 5 v a D2 school.

But hey, Matheney is 5-8 overall and 3-3 on 2 point shots, so at least he's in a groove.

We also only played 8 guys in the 1st half v a D2 school.

When are Lightfoot and McComb supposed ot get minutes if not v this type of competition?

Bg should have ODU on the schedule every year....biggest crowd of the year.

At this point there is no one covering this team right. No one at the Blade, Sentinel or student paper.

Is anyone asking Huger why Lightfoot is playing 8 minutes a game? Anyone?

Michael Burwell is covering BG sports for The Blade now. He live tweeted the bowl game for football, and he’s doing the same for hockey tonight.

Can’t blame him for not making men’s basketball a huge priority tonight when they played a non-D1 team.

Totally get it. I dont expect amazing coverage. I do want to know whats going on with the program. Especially when it could be as easy as....Coach Huger says McCombs and Lightfoot need to work through some things off the court. The team is also looking for a spark with having Samari Curtis come off the bench.

CMU knocks of UM in Ann Arbor....not quite the achievement it would have been a year or two ago. but still....

When Watson gets more minutes than Lightfoot or McComb, there's a serious issue.

And Etim and Diarra got to play a total of 3 minutes combined. Why are we not playing these guys more during blowouts? How exactly are they supposed to develop?

Michael Huger has never understood how to handle a blowout. I witnessed the most ridiculous one in 2018 vs Buffalo. Listed below is the box score.

The final is closer than the game was. BGSU dresses the student manager on senior night. The story is presented to the CBS Sports Network crew as they continually show him on the bench during the final 10 minutes of game. Turner logs 35 plus minutes in a blowout, Plowden plays a minute, and the senior walk on manager never plays.

Other note from that box score. Caldwell (Ashland) played over Cummings (Colgate now Pittsburgh).

Hugor also showed what a moron he was that game...He couldn't get he senior manager in BECAUSE HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY TIMEOUTS LEFT. Geeze, bounce the ball off somebody and make the substitution.

And he's not even a great person like Louis Orr was LOL

Sadly not even to cheer on the Falcons.

ODU's leading scorer Szul is an Anthony Wayne alum. A large portion of the crowd was there supporting him.
