One thing I wish was done in the men's game notes is list how many years of eligibility remain for a player after listing their class. The women's game notes list that and I think its helpfulGlobetrotter wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2023 12:52 pm Thats technically all of our scholarships correct. Who knows in this era.
Some of the guys list how much eligibility left. https://bgsufalcons.com/sports/mens-bas ... -agee/9842BGFalconfromCincy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2023 4:07 pmOne thing I wish was done in the men's game notes is list how many years of eligibility remain for a player after listing their class. Looks like Kaden Metheny is starting for Liberty and Chandler Turner is starting for RadfordJohnFloyd4Life wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 11:04 am The verbal commits website does a good job of that. Plus you wax poetic about all the guys that used to be on the team.
Giant guy from Utah seems like a good get. Wembyesque.
Anybody know where Ayers ended up? I thought he was one hell of a player.JohnFloyd4Life wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 8:05 am The college basketball reference site is good for that. I wish Caleb Fields was still here, I’d take Metheny, I’m not sure there’s any other active former Falcons I’d take on this team.
He played well in the NBA Portsmouth Invitational but didn’t get any traction. He’s playing pro ball in Luxembourg this season. A small, but solid league.BleedOrange wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 9:23 amAnybody know where Ayers ended up? Thanks for doing this Globe. This looks like a D1 roster than can compete. No more press conference complaining about how three 5’ 11” guards cannot play defense.Globetrotter wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 10:44 pm Interesting to load up the next few years
For 2023-2024 we need to find a handful of minutes for a big but should be good otherwise. A healthy Felt works and Greer could get a minute or two there even if he is a wing.
I think Thomas is expected to start at PG, interested to see how things play out then.
1 Sr this year
7 Srs next year
Obviously, with transfers almost anything can change.
