God, Oakland's OOC schedule is always a murderer's row. Two close losses to Ohio State and Illinois. Makes me think this is a better than average 0-2 team. I'll be following along on my phone. Respect to BG alum Greg Kampe. This is his 40th season at the helm there.

Whew. That woman announcer needs to find some other line of work.

Sloppy. Not protecting the ball. Not moving the ball around the offense well. Trying to force things things 1 on 1.

Just finished watching
Thats a really good team with some very good offensive players and a defense that is tough for a team that hasn't gelled to beat. We have to play better than tonight to be near the top of the MAC but it was a good learning game against a good team.
Way too many turnovers
Spurgin isn't in great condition, wonder about Felt again.
I am worried we don't have shooters
Our Bigs scored 35 of or 62 points against a Zone. That's pretty unheard of and I am not really sure what it means.
Hill is great on man to man but seemed a bit lost with the zone.
I can't remember ever having 3 good big men like this but their big men scored on them easily.

Tre Townsend was able to manufacture buckets with his strength and length. We failed to make gametime defensive adjustments to double him up, switch defenders, or to deny him the ball.

Last night was an excellent learning game. I'd think that Marcus Hill realizes that he's trying to do to much. We got exposed on defense against more physical players. We saw limitations in Agee's defense that we must learn to adjust for. I saw too much dribbling and not as much off-the-ball movement than in our prior two games.

All great points. I think it's strange our bigs scored so much. Their zone worked but not in the way it sometimes does

I don't think getting humbled early in the season with a brand new team hurts anything. That is a very talented and well coached Oakland team. They will more than likely not see a zone defense like that very often.

Oakland beat Xavier on the road tonight, 78-76.
